ARP Research provides market research, data analysis and insight services to the public, private and third sector. They are particularly active in the social housing sector, with a very high profile in Wales, being the provider of choice for a number of the country’s leading housing associations.
We were asked to create their new corporate logo and brand colours. A detailed brief was presented, in which they suggested imagery, colours and type to be used… a logo with a “contemporary feel”, “giving the impression of being fresh and up to date, but erring towards being calm and confident rather than edgy or fast paced.”
After presenting initial pencil drafts, we focussed on one specific design, where its abstract shape not only conformed to their brief, but also gave the impression of the letter ‘a’.
A vector design was created using Adobe Illustrator and following a couple of feedback sessions, and the creation of their corporate colour palette, ARP signed off the project.
Their logo and colour scheme has now been incorporated into their website, printed documentation, corporate stationary and PowerPoint presentations, driving their brand awareness in the market research and social research sector.
After successfully being appointed to carry out research projects for a number of large UK Housing Associations and wanting to generate further brand awareness, ARP Research commissioned RSL Designs to create advertising for inclusion in ‘Inside Housing ‘ magazine; the leading weekly magazine for housing professionals in the UK, with a weekly circulation of 25,512 and a total readership of more than 80,000. This advertising has been very successful, raising awareness in the marketplace and generating a number of sales and useful client contacts.
Lightwave 3D was used to create the Monopoly™ style houses, with Adobe Photoshop being used in post compilation.
