Using 3D motion to highlight the advantages of a home renovation
We recently partnered with Pristine Building Solutions to bring a unique home renovation project to life using CGI. The brief was clear: create a “Grand Designs” – style animation that clearly demonstrated the transformation of a property before and after an extensive energy-efficient renovation.
Using 3D/CGI, we were able to build the home and visualise each stage of the build, allowing viewers to see the dramatic improvements not only in the home’s appearance but also in its performance.
From outdated fittings to a modern, eco-friendly living space, every upgrade was highlighted in a detailed, compelling visual journey.
Key features of the renovation included the installation of underfloor heating, solar panels, loft insulation, an air source heat pump, as well as brand-new windows and doors.
The animation was designed to show how each of these elements contributed to a significant improvement in the property’s EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) rating—clearly illustrating the environmental and financial benefits of the renovation.
The result was a powerful, informative tool that Pristine Building Solutions now uses to explain the value of their work and the long-term gains of energy-conscious construction.
