Shark / Ninja – Photorealistic Product Renders for Global Retail
Delivering Photoreal CGI for a Global Consumer Brand
Through a collaboration with Small Animations, we were invited to create photorealistic product renders for Shark / Ninja — one of the world’s leading home technology brands.
The objective was clear. The visuals had to match the premium quality of the products themselves while remaining consistent across multiple SKUs. Every render needed to be retail-ready, marketing-ready and brand-accurate.
To achieve this, we worked directly from clean CAD files supplied by the client, ensuring absolute precision from the outset.
From CAD to Retail-Ready Visuals
Although the original CAD models provided accurate geometry, they were not suitable for final marketing imagery. Therefore, we rebuilt and optimised the assets for high-end rendering.
We separated components, refined surfaces and reconstructed materials to replicate:
High-gloss plastics
Matte finishes
Transparent elements
LED lighting features
As a result, each product maintained both technical accuracy and premium visual appeal.
Precision Lighting & Material Realism
Lighting played a crucial role in defining the final look.
Because these products rely heavily on subtle surface reflections and finish quality, we carefully developed lighting setups that enhanced form without overwhelming detail. Controlled highlights helped define curvature, while soft reflections reinforced material realism.
In addition, we calibrated shaders to ensure consistent results across multiple angles and product variations. This consistency is essential when assets are used across ecommerce, packaging and global marketing campaigns.
Managing Multiple Product Variants
Shark / Ninja’s product range includes several models and configurations. Consequently, the workflow had to remain flexible and scalable.
By building a structured scene setup and modular asset system, we ensured:
